Practical training is a essential part of any engineering course. The institute has a well equipped workshop to impart practical training to students in basic workshop technology. The other laboratories include electrical lab, instrument lab and Radio navigation lab. These labs are equipped with all required training aids and other equipments required for practical demonstration and trainging.

Computer Lab

A modern computer lab equipped with high configuration and a server is available in the institute. A wealth of software, several operating systems and platforms provide extensive opportunities and capability for Info-Tech training as well as the use of modern teaching like simulations and computer based instruction. The institute has broadband Internet facility.

Library

Institute has a library fully equipped with numerous course text books, reference books, solved/ unsolved exam papers, news / bulletins, magazines, personality development books, general knowledge and also competitive exam books. Each student is provided with a library card for issue of books for a fixed duration of time. The library also receives a number of popular magazines and current aviation journals. Our institute has also collaboration with other libraries from where the student can obtain membership to read as many books as they want on any subject.

Aeromodelling Club

Aeromodeling plays an important role in education of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. The students share their ideas and generate new dimensions in the world of Aviation Engineering.
The goal of Aeromodeling club is to increase the level of autonomy in the system by incorporating higher level of decision. Here student analyze and visualize the theory and tools to assist the design and operation of safe system with greater capacity. PUNE IAT's approach to engineering includes building technical foundation, and knowledge. Integrating with the organizational and cultural aspects of system, knowledge within student.

Hostels & Mess

To cater the need of the outstation student institute offers hostel accommodations with quality mess facility. The rooms are spacious, properly ventilated and provided with fans, tubelights and required furniture. Each student is given a Cot, Chair, Table, Mattress, pillow and a Lock. The hostel has facility for incoming calls. Separate hostel facility for both boys and girls.
